ALIA R. TYNER-MULLINGS
In our nation, we can do better with how we take care of each other and valuing black and brown bodies as we do others.
In education, we can move from systems reliant on testing to those that value a student's individuality
In media and culture, we can do better in how we represent black and brown people, women and others made invisible and we can give them the power to represent themselves
In the classroom, we can create more welcoming places that support students through graduation
In ourselves, we can find the time to do what is demanded and what we desire, what is needed and what is a notion, what is held, and what is hoped.
We can do better.
We can be better.
Change is possible.
